2018 UBC Animal Welfare Conference

Are you interested in animal biology, life sciences, animal welfare or all the above?
Join us on March 16th (Friday) from 1-5pm at the Ponderosa Commons Ballroom for a series of talks about current animal welfare issues regarding animals in science. Conference topics will be presented by experts from UBC and the University of Guelph, representing academic, research, and advocacy perspectives.
Doors will open at 12:30. After the talks, a light lunch will be provided, and you will get the opportunity to network with the speakers and ask questions.

Note: Attendees are not required to remain for the whole duration of the conference though we do request that any entries and exits be made during the breaks in order to be respectful.
